Hello Everyone
Well I am just back from Holiday and on a bit of a downer to say the least
Well I just thought I would log and and let you know about the 'Dreaded Hotel Ayeria' and I am pleased to inform those who have yet to go that they have absolutely nothing to worry about
When we arrived we had to share a double room for the first night as our room wasnt ready but they apologised and were very helpful. When we finally got our twin room it was more than enough room for us and was very clean. The bathroom was small but its not as if we wanted to both be in it at the same time anyway!!!
I cant tell you what the breakfast was like as we never made it down in time but the lunches and dinners were really enjoyable the the salads available were beautiful, however I would say that is you were a very fussy eater you might not like the food
The staff were more that helpful and the bar men were very helpful, must have been because we were female lol The only thing that I would complain about would be the manager/owner and his family/close friends plus tiny dog who liked to show that they owned the place (and sometimes I think they thought they owned everyone in it!!!) The staff were expected to get their drinks and food for them and not once did I see any of them say thank you, or even acknowledge them at all! Really angered me
All in all I would say that after reading the reviews on the hotel I really was expecting the worst but if anyone is going soon I would say you have absolutely nothing to worry about. We got what we paid for, it isnt 5 star but it certainly isnt Fawlty Towers!!
Regards
There's a party of 9 of us going A.I. to the Ayderia Hotel on 1st July. Can anyone please give me a recent update on this hotel. I've looked at the reviews of this hotel, and it doesn't sound all that good, in fact it sounds terrible. The last review was in Oct 2005, so with a bit of luck it might have improved, if only by a little.
as i told the last person that asked about this hotel we went there about 18 mths ago and it wasnt good, infact they over book all the time so you might not even stay there, if i were you i would change before its too late, sorry to be negative, if youre not expecting too much then you might be ok, its not the worst hotel ive stayed in but near the bottom, but it might have improved but certainly didnt from when we were there to last review
Thanks for that Ellie. Cant change it as we've booked everything seperate on internet. Well i never expect too much at any hotel, but have stopped in some super ones. Well i guess we're stuck with this one, and i'll add a complete review when we get back ( IF WE SURVIVE FOOD POISONING , etc) Here's hoping.
i never saw any food poisoning whilst we were there and the food was ok, just not a lot of choice and times limited, this is what they call a soft all inclusive, so there was no snacks, ice creams etc free between meals, if youre not expecting too much im sure it will be fine, we found rooms clean which is a major point, and its only 5 mins from the beach, to be fair its not the worst all inclusive ive stayed in in turkey so you should be fine
