can anybody give me the correct information about driving a small motorbike in turkey in the uk you only need a full driving licence to ride a motorbike

what is the situation over in turkey ,i have heard that many confliction stories what licence coveres you ,with turkey not being in the europe community what exactly will i need to drive legally

As far as know, it's the same as a car, just your licence, if it's just for holidays

depends on what cc the bike is. generally it's accepted to have a small 50 cc bike on a full license but you will have to check if you need a bike license for anything bigger. The renter will not care as long as the bike is rented but the police will!!!!

Anyone that rides a motorbike in Turkey is crazy.
Driving 4 wheels is bad enough.

I think you will find that link is about COMPUTER literacy nothing to do with driving or motorbikes, although Turkish drivers do drive like they are playing a computer game.

The drivers here carve you up,have no lane discipline, jump traffic lights are rude and ignorant of other road users --- and thats the police drivers the rest are even worse

turkey is one of the worst places in the world for road accidents and deaths
most if not all the laws that are in place for drivers in the uk are also here...BUT never adhered to...
For eg. see how many families fit onto one motor bike granma going side saddle with baby on the back
and they are supposed to wear helmuts :rofl
