Yes we wrote complaining about delays, reply was quickly forthcoming, Not entitled to any compensation, bla bla bla and finished by hoping we would be booking again soon with the company.
I do believe we as travellers are victims of our own greed. We allowed these big multi companies take the market over, thus there is few to change to, in order to hurt them, a single voice from a customer has no effect whatsoever. but carry on enjoying your holidays readers, at least this site gives us a chance to gripe and air our views. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

wow. i never thought about looking on this part of the forum. i'm NOT complaining but i did book my holiday with portland months ago. due to all the problems with where i am going ( sharm el sheikh ) i just thought i'd check to see how much portland are quoting for the same holiday. its now £160 cheaper!! it will be interesting to see whether i see any of that reduction. final invoice due middle of september. medot.xx

If there is a technical fault on an aircraft and the plane has to be split, the decision will always be left to the handling staff. If not then everybody would try and pick the same destination. Thats the fairest way to do it. I ask the same question i have asked a couple of times on this forum, what would you prefer, a plane that was faulty or a delay and a plane that functioned correctly? Also in one breath you seem to say no reps in sight so everything ran smoothly, as if the lack of reps was a good thing, and then go on to complain that there were no staff at the airport, which for the record i would be very suprised. Thomson will definatley have had staff and reps at the airport.

Re your orginal post, you cant buy a tv from comet and then take it back in the sales and demand a refund.
