We booked flights/Car/Apartment from anotherFlights.co.uk. They say they are agents only and our apartment quality complaint, should be dealt with by the apartment provider, (who they provided) anotheragent.com. We have contacted anotheragent.com via anotherflights.co.uk, who have offered us £30 goodwill gesture but say they are only agents and our gripe is direct with the apartment direct in Spain.
The apartment had no kettle/sink plug, microwave security/cleanliness and overheating light fixtures that smealt of burning. (they were 40watt light fixtures with 60 watt bulbs in. A fire hazard)The receptionist said they were full. no rep was available, no notice board with emergency contact details of anotheragent.com was available, even though they said there would be one in reception.
I left answerphone messege with anotheragent.com UK rep and e-mails and also gave notice the day after arival we would check out and find another apartment. This we did on the Sunday after arival.
Hence, we have paisd twice for a weeks holiday.
We paid anotherflights.co.uk for the apartment/car/flights and want our money back. Who is lible please? anotherflights.co.uk or anotheragent.com?
sounds like both are the same company and passing the book from one to another to try and avoid dealing with it. thats what happens when you DIY on the internet, you often lose the services of rep and have no-one to talk to face to face if there are any problems.

it sounds to me that thew agent was another anotherflights.co.uk, another agent.co.uk was the company and you are the third party. what can happen is anotheragent.co.uk are liable for you to sue if they are seperate companies and then anotherflight.co.uk can be sued by them. you can sue the agent directly unless its mass misconduct which doesnt seem apparent here. find out if which of the companys liased with who and you will find you answer of who is liable. the wonderful law of agency!!
They way I understand it is that if you bought flights and accommodation from 'A' then 'A' are selling you a package and therefore they are liable for any problems within that package.
