luv marshy!x
Sorry, I haven't been there, it was just the headline caught my eye!
I'm sure you'll have a great day out in the right vehicle though
can't believe how much it costs now!sure it used to be about 10quid per car and we used to squash in as many as we could!!!those were the days!! :
Ha ha I cant believe they now have a Monkey Bypass, I have nt been there for years simply because whatever car your in the monkeys wreck something, so glad now they have an optional route i will definately think of going back there
Also there is a small fair there with rides for the kiddies - my six year old had a great time!
Enjoy!
Touch wood, we have never had anything happen to our car in the monkey enclosure. It seems to happen to the those who are luring the baboons on to the car with food - which they are not supposed to do! You would not believe how many people blatantly ignore this. We saw people feeding tortilla chips to camels.
We usually combine a visit to Knowsley with a drive up to Southport beach afterwards, where we spend an hour or two and then top it off with a visit to Pizza Hut there (no Tesco clubcard vouchers for that!).
We are going again in a couple of weeks and looking forward to it!
Karen
