You can trade in your Tesco Clubcard Vouchers to get into Knowsley. We did that, got the 3 of us in free, and decided to upgrade to an annual pass at the end, so they deducted our entry fee from the price which we thought was a great deal. We've been twice since May and our 4 year-old daughter loves it, but to be honest her most favourite bit is the rides afterwards. It's £8 for a wristband for the kiddie rides (you get £1 off if you have a membership card :D). I thought that was a little pricey, but not after Alton Towers

and the Central Pier at Blackpool.
Touch wood, we have never had anything happen to our car in the monkey enclosure. It seems to happen to the those who are luring the baboons on to the car with food - which they are not supposed to do! You would not believe how many people blatantly ignore this. We saw people feeding tortilla chips to camels.
We usually combine a visit to Knowsley with a drive up to Southport beach afterwards, where we spend an hour or two and then top it off with a visit to Pizza Hut there (no Tesco clubcard vouchers for that!).
We are going again in a couple of weeks and looking forward to it!
