hi, we went to corfu 2 years ago, and stayed at the mon repos palasce hotel (4*) on half board, it is a lovely hotel if you dont mind a small swimming pool. it is on the edge of garitsa bay, just accross the road towards the right is the mon repos beach, (charge about 2 euros a day) well worth it and it is a nice walk into the old town, about 20 mins. we will definately go again, and maybe stay in same hotel, or the corfu palace hotel nearer to the airport (4km) from corfu town, did you try nico's restaurant, very nice. hope this helps
