Bill and Carol İ think this has a lot to do with how comfortable you are with renting to people you dont know. İf you dont need the income have you thought about just renting to family and friends. This may give you more peace of mind.
If you do decide to rent, then furnish it nicely but quite basic, provide cheap white bedding and towels which can easily be replaced if soiled or lost. If anything does get damaged then it will be cheap to replace and you won't be worrying about it all the time.
Wow!! We know how you feel.
We have bought our place at Gumusluk, and we also in two minds what to do. We plucked up courage and advertised it. We have two couples going in this year, and so it has covered our ground rent!!
I agree with the other post. If you do, do it nicely and tastefully. White towels etc.
Dont know if this helps, but best of luck

Thanks for replys everyone. It has been helpful. Think we'll give it a go and see what happens I'll be probally be asking loads more questions as I go along tho' Do you think we should wait till March to furnish it, instead of October?
In advertising you can just use external photos and then take some more when furnished.
Yeah, that's what we thought. Just can't waith to get it furnished! Need to be sensible tho'. Thanks for advice.
