If you need to be flown home in an emergency you will need travel insurance unless you fancy footing the bill yourself for repatriation.
Also travel insurance covers you for many other things other than medical.
Having sustained an accident last year on holiday which meant I had to return to the UK early - we were glad we had travel insurance even if they were not the most helpful company!
Never, never travel without insurance.

If i were you i would take the insurance. One day i saw sick and i called the reception for a doctor he came he charged me Lm20 nearly 32stg
