Is this the La Rosa in Gumbet?
Nice hotel (or it used to be, one of my friends stayed there a few years ago). The rooms are small and basic but clean. Nice pool area (but not very big).
Its quite a walk into the centre of the resort and the beach from the La Rosa - at least 15 minutes. In fact, its probably the furthest hotel from the centre of Gumbet.
Its very near the mosque too, so be prepared to hear the call to prayer.

Its very near the main road from Ortakent into Bodrum, so you'd be able to get the dolmus (minibus) and it would only take about 10 minutes. Gumbet is the next resort over from Bodrum (literally over the next hill going from the beach).
