The Blaucel is on the main road that goes through the far end of the resort one block back from the sea. The area is fairly busy (or was last week) as most bars, funfairs etc are on that stretch. The resort is not one that is popular with Brits although there are a few 'British and Irish' Bars. The resort is more popular with the Dutch and Spanish.

Can't speak for the hotel itself but I do know it is one of a pair (Blaumer being it's twin). There is a small funfair next door which might be a bit noisy if you are on that side of the hotel.

The resort is nice. The beach is coarse sand and not good for castles. plenty of shops and bars etc and a couple of discos if you are thay way inclined. That end of the resort has all the campsites as well and there is very little hi-rise development once you get one block back from the sea.

Boats run from the beach to Tossa, Lloret, Malgrat and Santa Susanna. The train runs to Barcelona.

The older, more traditional part of town is about a 30 minute walk away.
