Recieved a letter from balkan- building work nr. hotel- help

Hi,

I am just recieved a letter from balkan holidays about building near my hotel in sunny beach, I am staying at the mena palace hotel, and going on the 18th of this month,

should i change?
What should i expect?

any replies much appreciated!!!

Hi Brad, how are you doing? Sometimes bui;ding work isnt so noisy but I havent been to Bulgaria yet so best others give you this advice. Maybe see you out there, I am going on 19th.

Hi,

I am quite worried because lesley jane said there was a un-finished hotel next to the mena palace last may or june.

just hope works isnt going to continue on that!

Any advice appreciated.

i also got a letter from balkan, i am going on the 19th.
i am staying at sunny day apartments.
I think it may be a stsandard letter they send to everyone this time of year. As building work starts at end of season.

I suppose it depends whether you intend to spend lots of time in your hotel or get out and do other things.

I got back from Bulgaria on the 03-09-2005, There's building work going on all over the place so I'd wait and see if it's a problem when you get there then ask to move if necassary.Our hotel (royal park) was finished last year but we still got woke up once by workmen on the roof.Have a great time!

we came back from SB aug 27.there are unfinished hotels and apartments all over the place but there was not any lorrieis or heavy plant about.the few people we saw were mainly women and kids working on the interiers.they were no problem. only saw them ist thing in the morning.

mena palace

Hi there,

I stayed at Mena Palace Hotel and came back at the end of june 05.
There was a hotel been built next to the mena palace but it never was a problem.The building was up in june and all that was taking place was plasters and deco ect.
i have the hotels number if you want to ring to see what they have to say.

Hi,

I contacted balkan, and they said the work was in next door hotel, and was only gardening work, and painting. fingers crossed!
