Hi all
I booked a apartment in tenerife thorugh alpharooms yesterday the paradero apartments on alpharooms the facilities had a pool listed but after reading the reviews there is no pool at these apartments you have to make use of another complexes. I am very angry as I would never intentionally book somwere without a pool. I did read the reviews before I booked but all I was looking for was basic cleanliness and safety. How do I stand does anyone know?? Will alpharoo s refund me as the description of the apartments are a false representation.

Give them a call Vicky and see if they will change your accommodation or refund your money.
i think it depends how dear it is we booked a apartment with a compony and it did mention a pool i realised that we had to use the one next door, but we were not bothered as we payed £245 for one week in july when the kids were off, but i would be dissapointed if we had to go far away for a pool or we thought thats what we had booked good look by the way our accomodation was 1 star and massive best accomodation we stayed at yet and it overlooked the sea.
I've done a google search on these apartments and all of them show a pool - no-one is mentioning having to use another complex's pool?
Also in our reviews no-one mentions there not being a pool and infact someone says their room overlooked the pool.

Just give the company a call and tell them what you have put on this forum. I think they are a good company, I have used them afew times and they have been very accurate in what they say.
Let them explain themselves and see what happens. If you have a pool facility and it is near by then surely its no great problem is it.

Hi I can confirm that these apartments do not have their own pool,
but use the pool at the hacienda del sol next door.
You can see for yourself if you look in the Sunstart Brochure( bargain brand of First Choice).
They are also advertised as " heatwave". which is a young/lively group
doing bar crawls, beach trips etc, so they may be a little basic and loud.

It seems Paradero I has a pool, Paradero II doesn't...

Thanks all for your replies. It seems these apartments are a mystery some people say there is a pool some dont anyhow better to be safe than sorry I have changed accomodation with alpha rooms no problem they even offered me a full refund !! But as alpha rooms were about the cheapest accomodation for what I wanted I have booked the Los cardones apartments which are a 3 key and deffinately have a pool !!
