any idea where the best places are to eat and also go for a night out in Torremolinos? We are on a budget so cant be too expensive we are a young couple but not really bothered about clubs just bars with a good atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks. Also i am allergic to seafood so paella is out!!!

Their hotel is situated in C/ Los Nidos Carihuela, where they will find loads of good restaruants. Our favourite is just around the corner from their hotel in C/ Bulto. Its The Bar Playa.(It has a ships helm on the sign above entrance)A small family run place. No candles or flowers on the table, but good well prepared/inexpensive local dishes.

Where to start.... there are so many to choose from. You can have Paella without seafood, just chicken, etc. Just make sure you make it c "No Pescado or Mariscos". What type of food do you like?

Hi I'm hoping someone can help me.

I urgently need a recommendation for a good restaurant in Torremolinos, for a friend who is celebrating her 30th Birthday  Any type of cuisine will do, but the restaurant must be child friendly.

Many thanks 8)

If its British bars you want you have Baileys, and the Galloping Major amongst others not far from the Griego. If its Spanish there are many in the area. There is a small friendly Spanish bar at the rear of your hotel run by my friend Paco and his wife in Calle Colegial, open till the last customer leaves.

Hi Stace,

I went to Torrie last year and had a great time in Hollie Fitzsimmonds Irish bar which is in the centre. I stayed in the Sol Principe (opposite the beach) and there was a grat bar just around the corner called Dreams. It's a karaoke bar run by a British couple Jan & Dave & it had a really good atmosphere & quite cheap too. The JUMBO Chinese restaurants are noce and good value too.

If you're looking for a cheap night out though, don't go to Benalmadena, in 24 hour square one bar tried to charge us 10 euro for 1 bottle of water & 1 bottle of coke!!!! :x

Have a great time & go to Gibraltar if you get the chance - tax free booze and clothes! The dolphins were good too!
