Hi Crockett

We stayed at the Sani Beach Hotel a couple of years ago, our children were 7 and 10. In my opinion the Hotel caters more for children, they have a really good childrens club (or they did when we went !) and our daughters really had a fabulous time, the childrens club was really well run and not at all rowdy, it enabled myself and husband to spend time on our own!! something we have never done before. Overall we had a great time and would throughly recommend this hotel. We did take a walk over to the Sani Beach Club, and we both said we preferred the Hotel.

We went to Sani Beach Hotel this year. We ate most nights at the Beach Club. I think the Hotel would be better. The pool is about 5 times the size of the Beach Club. My children are 7 and 8, and they both loved the kids club, I was so shocked as they kept going every day without fail. You can go between all the different "sites" quite easily by hopper bus. I have written a review which should give further information. You can not go wrong with Sani

Many thanks for that, we were leaning towards the hotel and that's pretty much confirmed it.

The pool area looks much nicer at the Sani Hotel since they refurbished it a few years ago. I believe they've recently refurbished the Beach Club rooms, but haven't done anything with the old style rectangular pool and terraces, which is a shame.

Crockett,

I like Neavsie stayed in the Sani Beach Hotel. Would recommend it for kids rather than the Beach Club

If you book with the hotel direct you get a free taxi transfer (providing you are staying at least 7 nights) which I can recommend. They are waiting for you at the airport when you arrive.

I found booking this way saved me at least £300 and got cheap flights.

Good luck and have a nice holiday.

Thanks to all for the advice and the excellent review, Neavsie. My wife was stunned that they didn't initially give the children pool towels !!

One other question, reviews elsewhere mention big problems with wasps and mozzies. Did any of you experience a similar problem ?

There were a few wasps at the Beach Club restaurant not enough to spoil it, they put a saucer of burning substance on your table. Mozzies even I was bitten however I used the plug in mozzie repellent in our rooms which did the job. Can't say the children were too bothered I just bought some roll on stuff from the chemist one day to roll over the bites. seemed to do the trick. It did not affect our holiday at all and maybe we were lucky and they don't like us very much but it seemed no different than anywhere else.

Thanks for the opinion of the review, it is much appreciated.
