Hi Sofya
I heard the same thing and Place in the Sun mag mentioned that http://www.h4u.co.uk were doing flights there. However, it turns out they only do them to Dalaman (from Manchester and Gatwick). Better than nothing?

Thanks Eddie
I found out exactly the same thing !
I hoped the days had long gone when I had to trail from Dalaman and Izmir to Bodrum.Thats how I used to do it many years ago with a new baby ! Luckily the baby is now 14 andI dont have to carry her!
Thanks :D

Hi Sofya
I find it incredible really that there still aren't flights to Bodrum. Is there really so little demand to go to Bodrum in the winter and more to the Izmir and Dalaman? Seems like there must be an opportunity there for an enterprising airline especially when you see how many Brits are buying on the peninsula.

Hi , Sofya,

How long does it take from Ismir or Dalaman? Who do you use for transfers , cost , time taken etc? Is it worth going over Christmas? Is there much open , what's the weather like????

See the thread in the Turkish forum re winter flights. Bodrum is being considered for next winter by a flight operator. Sign the petition to show support

Hi Pyramid.Roughly 3 hours from both Izmir and Dalaman.Izmir to Bodrum is fairly flat and from Dalaman is mountainous.Weather varies from sunny (like a UK summer ! )but not boiling ........to rainy. But thats how Bodrum peninsular keeps green....from the winter rain.A few places open (Turks eat out too !) Cinema.Sight seeing without all the tourists !Better than a UK winter :D

Hi pq16.Mick in the Irish Rover is fine and his wife Dilek and 2 sons are great too. They are my friends neighbours. She has 'Sues Place' Restaurant
