Morning...
Would anyone like to share their views on the 3-7 year outlook for the German property market (both office & residential). Thinking of investing through a syndicate or on our own if it's a residential.
Thanks
Toddy
i heard that germany was one of only a few euro contries that had not experienced a property boom in the last 10 years, dont quote me, but could be interesting.
just had a look at a property investment tracker and Germany isn't even mentioned! I also get emails of latest investment opportunities and have never had one about Germany. Mind you- perhaps you have the chance to get in there before everyone else realises!!
I live in Germany and wouldn't advise investing. There seems to be a lot of property for sale here and it isn't moving (it can take up to a year to sell a house) my house hasn't increased in value over the last 4-5years. Of course this doesn't mean that there won't be a future upswing in the market but I think at present property investment here is a real long term thing.
