We are travelling around Asia and Tahiland is our last stop before home.
After looking at the guide books i think Krabi looks fab. However, we like to travel independantly and hire a car and not be rooted to one spot.
Do hotels in this area have car parking faciliities?
can you drive to other beaches/areas or doyou have to travel by boat?
is it possible to visit Kho Sok from there?
any help/ info would be greatly appreciaited.
thanks
Most hotels have adequate parking facilities. In Krabi a number of the beaches can be reached by road. However some of the best can only be reached by small boat, many are on small outlying islands.
While car hire is widely available many people tend to make use of local drivers in Thailand as driving in the area can be a bit scary at times

Depending on which hotel you are staying at in Bangkok, they might have their own limo service. I usually just use the airport limo service when I get to Bangkok airport, although I would not call the cars limosines myself.
