I am flying from Cardiff with hubby and three kids....

Have just booked another hotel in Salou that has an indoor swimming pool for a few nights in case weather is not good enough to swim outside.

Booked it on the http://www.thomson.co.uk website as they are selling them off for next week for only £5 per room per night... at that price I just couldn't help myself.... loads of accomodation deals in other resorts too...

The hotel burn is in part of the hotel el paso and what it is there is so many rooms done out in the halloween theme. you can book one for i think 17pound per person per night. ie if you are there for say 1week you could ask for 1 night in the hotel burn all the rooms are done out windows are all blacked out there cobb webbs all over and blood running down the shower curtains your bed will even move around through the night everything is spooky and the corridors are pitch black with dry ice to make it look spooky and skelotons on the floors there is even water in the taps that run red it sounds like fun so go and enjoy

Sun Club Apartments are pretty nice, but can be noisy as the sea view room also face the Mediterranean Village hotel, they seem to have noisy guests outside till late.
Also if you are in rooms 220 or adjacent this is directly above the bar area and when they have music or quiznights (every night) the sound comes up through the floor, their amplifier is very boomy.
Soundproofing is not their strongpoint but its pretty clean and there are several nice english girls who run reception so thats easy.
Take your own corkscrew and ice cube tray if you are going to need them, there aren't any in the apartments as they were stolen and not replaced.
You have to pay a £60 deposit when you arrive so have some cash.
Happy hour in the bar is 7pm to 8pm and the drinks are cheap on a bogof!
I would go back there anytime, thanks Ann (speaks fluent Spanish with a Geordie accent) and Rosalind (girls in reception).
