Hi.There are boat trips to nearby cambrilis and another town whose name escapes me!Its about 9euros return and the boats are quite frequent, at least they were in the summer and you can buy tickets at salou marina.Thereis also a jeep safari which was 45euro.This takes you up into the mountains for the day so it's good value but it may not run this time of year.You can find out at the excursion shops of which there are many.Of course there's a fairly regular train service to Barcelona which costs 10.50euro return and takes just over an hour.You can go by bus but would imagine that takes longer and i think it's more expensive!It is a must do though.Hope this has helped

i wouldn't of thought so becuase you spend the day exploring mountain villages so there will probably be a boredom factor there!!!However there are 3water parks around salou and la pineda which is only a 15minute bus ride from salou,The one in la pineda has a sea lion and dolphin show, a kiddies area with lots of slides and a chance to swim with the sea lions.Its 19.50 euro for adults dont know about the cost for a young un but should be cheap.Go there early as it stays open untill late evening in the summer and you can get your moneys worth that way!!!Port aventura in salou is a brilliant theme park and has a waterpark too.Check the topics on this site for reports but i know they cater for young uns too.We never found Aqualeon, though we didnt really look for it but that,s a water park AND a zoo!!!The tourist info office in salou is very helpful and will no doubt direct you there.Also have heard the zoo in Barcelona is well worth a visit and may take a day to do on its own as it's BIG!!
