I found out that I was a Gaudi fan when we visited. did you get the chance to visit Casa Batllo?

Hi Fiona. Yes I know what you mean. We felt our weekend was a homage to Gaudi. He was a genius. Unfortunately didn't get to visit Casa Batllo although we saw it when we were on the open top bus.

Kianic - I booked the hotel direct with them before I went after reading good reviews on Trip Advisor. We paid €75 a night which worked out at just over £50 per night. My hubby and I were upgraded to a superior room. Our friends were in a standard room which was still great value for the price. This did not include breakfast by the way. I told the hotel we were celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary and so on arrival there was a large plate of fresh fruit and a bottle of wine in both rooms for us. A nice touch! I would not like to say if it would be easy to book something when you get there. Personally I prefer to know where I am going to rather than traipsing round with luggage.
