I have stayed at the Park Royal in the past, it's a beautiful hotel I'm sure
you will like it. The food is a bit pricey compared to what you can buy in the stalls and restaurants outside the hotel. I was in Penang last month (unfortunately didn't stay at the Park Royal this time) and found the Jasmine Restaurant had an excellent choice of food, maybe a bit more expensive than the hawker stalls but very good friendly service. Turn right when you come out of the hotel and walk for about 150yards.
Has the Park Royal Penang got a proper spa or does it just have (like lots of the malaysian hotels) a gym with massage centre. It does not say on the website but was hopeing it would offer lots of different spa treatments (I Suppose I should have checked before I booked but I never think of these things until later).
