Hi all, I booked a hotel in Majorca (Hoyel Linda Can Padtilla) last week online with easyjethotels, paid in advance of course, then when I arrived at the Hotel it had closed for the winter.
ALl the lights were out, the hotel entrance glass doors had been whitewashed out and the neighbouring business told me it had closed the previous week - which was before I had my reservation confirmed by easyjet.
I found an Internet cafe and emailed easyjethotels, several hours later I received a replu yelling me they attempted to reply to emails in 2 days, also giving me a number to call if it was urgent.
By this time it was getting late and I was a little worried so I got someone to call the number for me and half an hour later easyjet's agents called back and told me to go to another hotel.
They gave me the name (Hotel Leo) but had no address, anyway I found it and it was Ok, only problem was it too closed down after I was there one night.
I really think that if you book online its worth calling the hotel itself to make sure they have your booking and also that they are actually still open.
