We stayed in the RUI ADEJE Apartments in 2004. We had some excellent English meals at the Colonial pub, just up from Burger King on the sea front. same street as all the Asian electronic shops.

There is a resturant next to the Sunwing resort in Fanabe called the
Gran Reserve,great food and steaks.

If you want a nice leg of Lamb try the Fortuna resturant in Los Christianos just off the sguare,large meal !!!.

barhamas 2 under were the market is in torviscas is highly recomended,big portions and great value for money.

Hi Davy
There is an Irish Pub/Restraunt called Christy O Connors opposite Playa Azul Apartments.The food there is good.They do some nice specials on different days.Boiled ham with cabbage n spuds,Coddel etc.I haven't had their steak yet but if it is anything like the rest of the food that I have tried I am sure they are good.
My favourite place for a steak in PDLA is Mamma Rosa's beside Colon 2 Apartments where you get the sightseeing train.Both places would be about a 5/6 euro taxi ride from Torviscas.

hi davy we stayed at laguna park 2 this year and every night we ate at chaplins,it was brilliant they do really good steaks.everything we tried there was really good and not bad prices plus like most restaraunts you get free schnapps when they bring you the bill.it is situated nearer to the motorway bridge near to garfields which is a brill karaoke type bar.also we went to the irish club just over the road but cant remember the name,that was good also. :glynis

In the Playa Fanabe area there are lots of restaurants called 'Aberdeen Steak Houses' If it's steak you're after, they are good.

we just got back from Los Christianos ( atlantida bungalows) not far from there just before you get to the main see front is a place called "Greedy Pigs" and next to that there is "Desperate Dan's". Both well worth a visit.

You want decent steak...you need South American steak. Only found in Spanish Restaurants! (BTW UK beef is banned in Spain...and most of the rest of the world!) :shock:

my wife and i have just been to tenerife, playa azul apartments and found the best irish bar in the world with five star food great irish staff and the best live band we have ever heard,christy oconnors irish bar,
they have a website if anyone would like to check out the bar.

Must agree billyjmactf, i've been to this bar many times, really enjoyed the live band(who IS that guy on keyboards) and "Jameson sandwich"
