If you are talking about the El Coto just outside Fuengirola then this is a good spot. It has a nice restuarant in the middle of it but I cannot remember its name.

Also, within walking distance are some excellent places to eat although I am unsure of opening times. Sorry about that. You could walk into Fuengirola from here its not too far. It is a nice walk actually with various shops here and there.

Hi

Thanks for the info - shame you can't remember the names. We were in Fuengirola in August and drove to El Coto, it does look nice.

Hi

Thanks, we are going out on the 24th December for a week, we have booked for Christmas Day night at Moochers, so it would be nice if we could go somewhere on the 24th locally perhaps. If I remember rightly thre was a restaurant tucked away within all the villas which looked quite nice, any info at all would be greatly appreciated.

You have made a good choice in Moochers, good food, great atmosphere.

Beautyrabbit,

In the middle of El Coto, the Restuarant is called "El Brujo". Also nearby are other good restuarants so you will have no problems here at all.

Have a nice trip and enjoy yourself.

Thanks

Do you know what type of food they serve and whether it would be necessary to book on Christmas Eve?.

PS what's the weather like as unsure what clothes to take?

There is a lovely carvery in El Coto. Cant remember the exact name, El Potro or El Porton (something like that). Compared to other carvery's over here, that one has to be one of the best and is very reasonable. It's a left turning (sign posted Sierrazuela) just before you go into El Coto.

Clothes wise - it's cold. You can be lucky with the sunshine in the daytime but once the sun goes down, you need to wrap up warm. Also bear in mind that most apartments/villas dont have central heating, so some warm pyjamas (not vey sexy i know) may be a good idea.
