I expect that is the case.

I am surprised that there are no safes in the apartments as they must be money spinners. In my timeshare apartments, the weekly rent is modest and the deposit for the return of the key is quite high.

We stayed in these apartments last May and you are right, they do not have any safes in the apartments. And, unless it has changed since we were there, they do not have safes for hire at reception. The only thing I can suggest is that you try Admiral Travel. I know they hire domestic items such as kettles and toasters etc. so you might be lucky with a safe but it is just a guess, I don"t really know.

HI Chico 45 just got back been great ,did not need a safe as the wife spent all me dosh only joking the doors and windows had security grills on so all was ok many thanks for your help Rob.
