Why not try booking a privately owned apartment as they are more likely to have air conditioning. The holidaylettings.co.uk website shows the details of apartments without you having to put any specific dates in so you'll be able to see which ones have and don't have it. You can check availability but, as I know from experience, sometimes the owners or agents don't always keep the website details up to date.

I wanted to book an apartment for the Christmas period but unfortunately I left it too late so it pays to book early as some of the apartments are very nice and get booked up quickly. As they are privately owned they usually have much better facilities in the rooms than would be found in an apartment booked through a tour operator, even though they may be on the same complex. Some that I saw had DVD players, full satellite TV and even broadband!

It depends when you go as to whether you need a/c. We regularly go in March/April (when you don't) and September (when you do)

I have to agree, being an owner, that booking privately is the way to go.

If they are all like us the apartments have more of a personal touch and as others have mentioned you will often find they give you that little bit more like DVD Fridge Iron etc etc. As for Air Conditioning if they have a good ceiling fan in the living room and the bedrooms it is usually more than adequate to keep the place cool.
