I'm looking at doing the 2 night / 3 day trip that involves going to Turtle Island off Borneo. Can anyone say whether it is worth doing this trip or can I see just as much elsewhere in Borneo (without such an expense).
The trip I'm planning is 9 nights Borneo, 3 nights Kuala Lumpur, 7 nights Penang? Does anyone think this is any good or should I change it somehow?

Sounds like a fabulous trip! Can't comment on your specific query but there are many members here who have been to Borneo, KL and Penang if you also have other queries!
