Hi
We are looking to go to Albuferia in september.
We can get quite a good deal.
As we usually go to spain(tried Turkey but didn't like it), we were looking for some advice.
The hotel is called the Auramar hotel.
Can anyone tell us if the resort is busy at this time,is the hotel far away from main resort and what can we expect on the weather front.
It is only 2 adults and we aren't too fussy aboot entertainment in hotel as we like to try different things.
Will probably think of more things to ask later on but i hope some one can help us with some of the above.
thanks in advance
Garry
Not totally sure where the hotel is but sure someone will come back with feedback. September is a lovely month to go. The scorching sun is just starting to cool a little making it more comfortable, the holidaying portugese are all gone home, and its still quite busy to have a really good time without too many crowds. Having been several times in different months May/September/ October are my best. Any more advice please ask.
Not 100% sure but think the Auramar is just along from Praia D'Oura beach, in between there and the Old Town. Its on the coast I think. I looked at this place for a holiday several years back but eventually went to CPO instead. Should be very easy to get to both the Strip and the Old Town and should have loads of bars etc close by. If its where I think it is then its very well located for nightlife and the beach.
There will be some reviews on this site I should think and definately on http://www.holidays-uncovered.co.uk
Good luck

Lummie is right about the location, it is in a good position between old and new town; and mandii is spot on about the weather etc, before we moved here end of September was our favourite time to come too.

Looks like we will definitely be going in September.
Have read quite a few reviews on hotel and have found them to be quite mixed so i suppose we shall just have to try it for ourselves.
We will probably have more questions nearer the time.
thanks again
Garry
