Im thinking of going to Zante for my hols in the second week of August with my boyfriend. We are both in our early 20s. Dont want to go to Laganas as it would be too outrageous for us but we do like to go to bars that play good up to date music and where we could maybe dance a little.
Dont want to be hassled by people pulling us into places. Does anyone know what Tsilivi is like in August? Also are the beaches nice in this resort and what watersports are there if any?
Any information on Tsilivi or another resort you think would suit us wouldbe helpful!
Thank you!
Kalamaki which is next to laganas is nice, it has plenty of restaurants, bars and a few clubs. I went in october and hadnt been for about 6 years and its developed a lot whilst still keeping some of its character. Where ever you go restaurant staff will try and encourage you in, but a polite no should suffice.
I havent been to Tsilivi for about 7 years, it used to be lovely and the beach was wonderful. Ive heard that it is much more developed now, which is good if you want restaurants and bars....as long as the beach is being looked after. And on that point, Crystal Beach at Kalamaki has been ruined, but Kalamaki beach is lovely.
Hope this helps!
I loved kalamaki but sadly will never return to zante until I know they have sorted the flies out, never seen anythung like it in my life, they landed on you no matter what no matter where, sunbathing, eating, anything, hope they have sorted it out angd got some lids for their bins. our hotel manageress said it was the worst year ever, hopefully they have had a cold winter to kill the lava off such a shame as we had a fab holiday except for the flies.
Like you, me and my boyf are thinking of going to Zante in Aug and we are both in our twenties. We have been looking at Tsilivi also and it looks like the ideal place. There are plently of bars, restaurants & 1 club but it seems as though many of the bars are music bars open to the early hours. We went to Faliraki last year, and although we had a brilliant time, we went something a little less lively. I'm not sure what there is to do out there, but seems as though it'll be a good holiday.
We went to Tsilivi last September and can't wait to go back again. It is a lovely resort with plenty of bars and resturants. We would recommend it.
I`m very biased to Kalamaki (11 visits) but there is something for everyone in the resort, whether restaurant, nightlife or walks out. To be fair you can`t go wrong in Kal or Tsilivi, Argassi is ok but a little tacky in places(my opinion only, many disagree), Laganas needs very little introduction!Alykes is nice but you may find it a little too quiet.
tsilivi is fab something for everyone theres clubs pubs restaurants you can do as much or as little as you want beach lovely never experienced any pushiness if you go you must visit the family restaurant food to die for have fun wherever you go
I'm booking Tsilivi this week, staying at the Georgia apartments, they don't sound too bad & seem as though they are pretty central. What kind of things is there to do out there during the day? Any trips? Waterpark?
