Fortuna Los cristianos for large very good steak. Nothing more nothing less
I agree Bahamas 2 is the best for steaks. The fillet steak is like a small joint and cooked to perfection

Try Il Fortuna. Great steaks and try the fillet steak kebab.
Thought Fortuna was over rated IMHO. Over crowded... waited for 40 mins for table. Squashed in. Rushed service. Food tepid/bland.... high on quantity very low on quality. Rushed out. Didnt enjoy anything about the whole experience TBH.
just want to agree with last statment, i think that la fortuna has become a victim of its own sucess, yes meals are good and portions big, but the "get them in, get them out" and very cramped conditions, i'm afriad is the order of the day, I discovered a rest. called "sterlitizia" you need to take a taxi to Cabo Blanco(€7/8 from pdla/lc) but the best steak(on the stone) i've ever tasted, if you're ever in doubt as a resident

Yes I probably agree with you on Fortuna, we used to go but maybe not for 3 years now as I can't just face all that meat and nothing has changed in years.Just that it got very very expensive. I thought it was better when Marian was there most of time but not seen him in 3 years. Will try Sterlitza in March when we go again.

Could sombody explain where Cabo Blanco is?
Cabo Blanco is about 5 minutes drive out of los cristianos, heading up the mountain, take TF1 northbound (santa cruz direction)to Guaza exit, go right and around and under the bridge(tf1) and drive up to next roundabout, 2nd right off roundabout, sterlitizia just there on the left, best steaks in tenerife

2 places i recommend. the first is in los cristianos called thomas a becket,,next to the bamalhur shopping centre,,graham and jane are very friendly and all the food is fab,,,secondly i would rave about coconut joes on the end of the parque de la paz row of bars,,worth seeking out,,beautiful!!
