Need to shout it from the roof!

Well, at least share it with you guys. just this minute booked from 19th Sept. to 18th October (yes, a whole 4 weeks....yipee!) for our holiday in Limassol.

Flights from Glasgow: £345.20 plus 2 bedroom apartment: £420.00. Total cost for two of us for 4 weeks: £765.00 !!!

Is that a fantastic price, or is that a fantastic price ??

Have to go and have a little refreshment to calm myself down

Yes I know Elizabeth,

We went for 3 weeks Sept/Oct last year and loved every minute.

Family are kinda mumping and moaning, but hey, it's our time now!

A month in one go, you lucky, lucky thing.

I normally get two weeks in the summer and try to get back for a week to ten days at the end of the season in early October.

Ok I admit that mearly a month but it's not in one go.

I'm so jealous. Have a great time.

I'm lucky Cardiff Lad, I work for my son (must have done something wrong in a past life, it's supposed to be the other way round !).

AND..... as we are taking his daughter, (6 year old), on holiday with us to Kos in July, he has to keep me sweet.

I was in Limassol then too, the hotel/apartments we had are no longer there though

It's actually privately owned apartments we are staying at, (just up the road from the Pizza Place). Ten min. walk to Dassoudi Beach, and the quieter side of the Tourist Area!.

This is our second year on DIY, and as it worked out really well for us last year we are going for it again.

brilliant good 4 you, i was in old town @ eden beach, bit of a dive but we stil loved it. im missing the amdnes of living in limassol.
going 2 rhodes this summer, new place new adventure, i will return 2 imassol soon though cnt keep away 2 long. made 2 many friends

I did it last year from 23rd November till 21st December

It was beautiful weather for 3 and 1/2 weeks of it :lol:

This is our second year on DIY, and as it worked out really well for us last year we are going for it again.

I've been doing DIY for a few years now. I would never use a travel agent again, other than for a cheap late deal.

This year we are having, as usual, a week in Pissouri and a week in Larnaca. 2 - 2 bedroomed villas;

1 detached with private pool and garden
1 semi detached with private garden, 3 minute walk walk from the beach

Plus car (Yaris A/C) for 2 weeks plus flights - £1300 for the 2 of us.

Can anyone match that for a 2 centre holiday with everything as above? Doubtful!
