Goa on film

This police/thriller film is filmed entirely in Goa.
The first recognisably Goan scene was a glimpse of Saligao Church, and another chapel which I think was the church at Aguada.
The police detective meets the gangster moll, who's going to make his life trouble, in a beach shack on Candolim beach. I think it was Sham's shack or the one next to it.
The final scenes of the film are filmed entirely aboard the Caravela. Is that the sunset cruise ship or the casino boat?
This film was a surprise hit in India (no musical numbers at all!) and should be readily available in the UK.

Haven't seen this film since the very early 1990s and the reason is, its star has become very famous (and she probably tried to have it squashed!). This is the Australian mini-series that really launched Nicole Kidman on the international scene. She played the innocent tourist who ended up with drugs planted on her in Thailand and ended up on virtual death row.
Only two scenes set in Goa, both at the Cidade de Goa hotel. The first where her boyfriend took her there to buy the drugs, the final scene where she'd escaped and the police caught him trying it with another tourist.
Not a great advert for Goa! Probably the first time I'd ever heard of Goa. The beach looks dirty and the sky is overcast; probably not in season.

(Sorry about the double post last time!)
Dil Chahta Hai is one of the best films ever made in India.
I made it a mission last year to visit the setting of the film (Chapora Fort) and walked there all the way from Candolim!!! It was well worth it!
An Indian equivalent of St Elmo's Fire, a trio of young Indian Uni friends assess their relationships as they grow up, fall in love and out of love and grow apart.
A truly wonderful film! Early on in the film the friends (Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna) travel down to Goa from Mumbai.
There, Saif Ali falls in love with a Swiss tourist (Have any of you EVER met a Swiss tourist in Goa???), who turns out to be a con-artist and robs him! Good shots of a beach, but can't work out where. Anjuna or Vagator I guess.
There is a musical number where the three of them are filmed at Chapora fort. I have to tell you this is a beautiful place and the views are FANTASTIC!
The last scene is also from the fort, a year or two later when they are re-united. Very touching.
I went there and the guides (ok, ice cream sellers) knew exactly where each bit was filmed and were willing to take pictures for a seemingly exorbitant charge!!
