Candolim - Guest house / hotel

Hi Guys
This April will be my second time in goa. last yr we stayed with first choice at the whispering palms. I have found some flights today for £460 each to goa from gatwick with my travel, just wondering if anyone can recommend a decent guest house / hotel which is nicely priced and i can book direct. any email / www addresses would be gratefully rec'd.

Have a look at a post further down the page titled ''lucia guest house'' it seems to be quite popular and has phone numbers etc.

I'd be surprised if you couldn't find a package for April for less than you've been quoted for flight only.

I have looked everywhere I can think but cant find a package any cheaper ... any ideas welcome.
As live in midlands can fly from manchester, london or birmingham.

Not sure exactly what dates you want but try searching for the very end of March, like from the 24th.

Goa is for some reason very expensive at Easter and all the way through April this year - must either be because of the school holidays in the UK or because its a popular Indian tourist venue at that time with expats - perhaps Goandentist can enlighten us!!

thanks for all the replies. £460 is the best flight price I can find (inc tax etc).
I have emailed Lucia Guest house and they have come back to me with a price of 500rd per night, just want to know if that is per person or room and if it has air con ... but i think we will go with that after seeign reviews on it... unless anyone has anymore ideas ??

we booked with First choice via internet 2 weeks ago £330 total each including 14 nights b and b and we go 9th March.I dont know wether they have similar prices now but worth having a look!

Think because I am going away week coming up easter and easter week the prices have shot right up but as a nursing student its the only time i can get away. Cant wait until I am qualified and can go when I please and for as long as i can afford
