I am going to Goa with my partner on the 28 of Jan and will stay at the Marriott hotel. Is there some nice beaches by walking distance from the hotel? If you know, i would be grateful if you could let me know.
I have read so many interesting comments from this site, i am so impatience to go there.

I have been to the Marriott twice and am again going in March this year for 3 weeks. There is a beach by the side of the Marriott but you are advised not to swim in the sea because of the currents. You will see the fishermen going out quite far though with their ropes etc. We always find the pool fab though and don't mind missing the beath too much.
Baga beach is very good and has some nice little shacks for your food although get your taxi to pick you up by 9:30ish as the beach does get quite crowded.
