Hi there,
I stayed at the Napa Plaza in September after refurb and it was fab. The decor was very contempory and spotlessley clean. I have just booked my wedding for June this year and the majority of my guests are staying here (approx 25 of them!) So anyone staying there around the 10th June. Watch out for all the Geordies!!!!!
i do have one question though....
i am thinking about staying in a basic room, do these have some kind of kitchen?????
any help would be apprechiated as i have searched the web and read reviews and no-one seems to mention this
Many Thanks
Gemma
The Napa Plaza is a hotel and not an apartment.....so as such there is no kitchen/catering facilities.
Thank you very much
Just a word of warning from many past experiences.........most of the hotels fill the mini fridges with drinks both soft and alcohol. IF you intend to do like we usually do and use the fridge for your own drinks, be aware that you don't get charged on 2 fronts.
Firstly the maid will replenish the stocks if you remove them and then these will be added to your bill ! Secondly they may charge you a fee for putting your own items in there.
I can't remember if the Napa Plaza do the latter but most everywhere else do So beware.....I'd ask at reception once your settled in and they'll put you right that way no surprises when you come to depart.
We once got a bill at The Dome for the mini bar for £140 This was because as fast as we emptied the fridge and put the hotel drinks in the wardrobe the maid replaced them every day. At the end of the hol we had more mini booze than the bar in our wardrobe and it took us over an hour to sort it at reception prior to checking out.....which in turn made us late for our taxi to the airport and we had a close shave with getting on the flight in time
Happy hols,
Sapph
I never even thought about it...I have booked the holiday now, so ill just have to wait and see, but thank you for your advice its been a great help
Thanks
When are you heading off Gemma
I go on the 26th June...coming back on the 3rd july
We hired a fridge on our previous visits which was just an empty fridge and not a minibar which is more like what Sapphire mentions. Got to have something to keep those Keo's cool!

hi mandy we are going to napa plaza in may and have heard excellent comments on the place can't wait
Stayed there last Sept - FAB, quality hotel, nice people and location!!!
Does anyone how much it is to hire a frdige at the above hotel? Stayed there last year but had a superior room - looking to go again later this year but don't think it's worth paying for superior again as only really conerned about having a fridge (which can be hired I believe?).
hi we were at napa plaza end of may and we hired a fridge and it was CYP2 per day well worth it to keep those keo beers cold
If so where abouts is it located?
Looking to go for a week at the end of August and been offered the Napa Plaza..... just wondering what it is like.
Thanks

It's a great hotel. Stayed there last year and going back this year! It's between ayia napa beach and the bottom of the square. Theres a cocktail/chill bar outside and also a nice cafe, it has a stunning breakfast area and piano bar area - once you are inside the hotel grounds you can't hear any noise at all from outside! I would definitely recommend!!!
I have just merged 12 separate threads about the Napa Plaza Hotel into this 3 page topic, so information which was previously missed may now be found in earlier posts.
this hotel is fab. It is close to the clubs for the young ones and close to the pubs for the more mature holiday makers. Hotel is lovely
