hotel orquidia bahia feliz with children aged 12 and 14

i have read the reviews on this hotel which looks great we have booked up to go 7 sep 06 for 2 weeks is there activities for my 14 yr old daughter and 12 yr old son or is it geared for younger kids i would be grateful if someone can tell me hopefully they wont be bored i know the resort is quiet but we like that but i dont want them bored any info greatly appreciated thanks

hi karenfarrell we are going june 26th for one week,we have friends who have been and have been told the activities are geared for everyone

will be happy to pass on the info when we return, but have heard its great

Hotel Orquidea, Bahia Feliz

I have just booked a holiday at this hotel. I have read good reviews about it, but the only thing that is worrying me is the pools. I have read that the 3 pools are salt water can anyone tell me if this is the case. And what facilities are in the half board rooms eg hairdryers, fridges etc.

This hotel is fab!!!

We went for a week in October 2005 and are about to depart on another two week venture in a few weeks time.

We had to pay 18 Euros for the use of the fridge for the week and about 19 Euros for the safety deposit box. The hairdryer is situated on the wall of the bathroom - you have to pull the hose gently towards you to get it to work. I stood there like a lemon trying to figure that one out for ages!

I don't know about the towels as we took our own.

orquidea,bahia feliz

hi me an the wife are going to the orquidea in a few weeks, what i would like to know is there any hotels/ apartments with in walking distance of where we are going. my parents have decided to try and join us and after looking at thomsons prices they want something cheaper, its two week till we go and thomson still want over £900 for the week :shock:

, any help on this plz

Bahia Feliz

We are going on the 20/9 for 2 weeks me,wife and two gilr saged 8&14, never been to Gran canaria before, we are staying in the Hotel Orquidea.

Would appreciate any help on things to do in the area or any comments about Bahia Feliz as can't seem to find out much about it. Any help and tips gratefully recived.
