I am finishing college this summer and a big group of us are planning to head to Albufeira to celebrate.We are all aged between 19 and 22.We plan to head for the first two weeks of June.We want it to be packed and buzzing when we go partying on the strip.I hope someone can tell me if it is.I would be very grateful as I dont want to be blamed if it is very quiet!

First 2 weeks might be a little quiet. It usually picks up mid July and then peaks mid August. Everything will still be open but a little quiet plus some of the clubs special nights might not have started.

We usually go beginning-middle of June and its still busy enough thats for sure. In august we found it to be far too busy to the point its hard to get a seat in a lot of bars or restaurants and the beaches can get a bit much as well. Maybe thats what you're looking for though???

Remember that the World Cup is being played in June too (we were there in 2002 - we watched Ireland vs Spain in Erins Isle - excellent!), so there'll be even *more* people than usual in most places where they show live matches....
