Do not go to Calengute it is too busy, Candolim is better.

if you want busy and lively then calangute,but either resort youre only a taxi ride away .

cannot help with the horizon but the phoenix is good. we prefer candolim to Baga and calangute but they are so near to each other it really doesn't matter which you choose

We stayed in Baga last year which was great, we were there the last 2 weeks in April so i was a lot quieter. This year we are probably staying in Calangute.
Depends how livley you want it and how old you are i suppose.

Round about Holiday road, where Daytripper is located is a good place to be based theres a selection of hotels, and eating places The shacks at that area are good so you have the best of both worlds being between both the more touristy Calangute and the more Indian feeling Calangute Alan

its got a good selection of restauants and bars, but baga and calangute are noly a short (and cheap!) taxi ride away! i also preffer the beach down here to!
