not sure if i post the 3 questions on the right place but anyway.
1) What do you go for. individual or organised tourism.
2) whre do you book from? major TOs brand names or small ones?
3) in both case what are you looking for in any of them? prices, resort, etc

our routine
1] decide the area we want to go
2] contact independent travel agent give them the holiday spec. where ,when,from,type of accommodation req. and a budget
3] agent will give us several options
4] research options. make a selection and book
not often packages (usually too big/brash/noisy for our taste) more often flight /hotel/transfers
on the last 16 holidays not had a bad one
