It's a long time since I last worked in Faliraki but my advice to you would be to try and find a job as soon as you get there. Don't think that you can have a fews day's holiday and then start looking. Your 2 weeks will pass really quickly.
Just ask in every bar / shop/ restaurant until you find one. Try and find some decent accomadation at the same time. Most bar owners will know someone with rooms to rent.

i worked there as a rep in 2004, it is very tacky so if you like that kind of thing then you'll have a great time, get to the bars asap when you arrive, if you like rhodes but want to work in a more international based resort then look at rhodes town which is about 10-15 mins north of faliraki..
