great news for me and the wife as we will be in Goa then. Do you know where exactly the Carnival takes place and at what times etc.

i would appreciate any help with that.

hi pedrogooner all i know is on the 25th feb it starts from panjim but when you get over their you wont miss it as its the carnival for the full moon all the goans will know about it

Thanks for that. Bit confused now when you mentioned 'full moon' It is a 'new moon' on the 28th Feb.

When I was first in Goa back in the seventies 'full moon' day was special and you could not buy or drink alcohol! How times have changed.

must go down to the beach early when it is a 'new moon' as the fishermen's catches can be enormous at that time.
