thanks briar - it sounds lovely - We are only going for a weekend and wanted somewhere for some nice relaxing walking and maybe a day out somewhere . Do you know how far norwich is and what its like there?

Thanks Briar for all your info - wroxham and horning sound lovely if the weather looks like its gonna be good - I was thinking about norwich because we are taking the boys (13 and 10) and my mother in law with us and thought it might be more historical,( although im not sure.) and they like that sort of thing altough MIL would probably prefer quaint. . I really dont know much about norfolk at all accept thats its suppossed to be "freezing". .
