There are Moon parties in various places across Goa each full moon.

Flourescant painted palm trees is just part of it. As are the flourescant painted people.

A hang over from the hippy days it's basically a rave in the jungle. Lots of thousand yard stares (if you know what I mean). Very Psycedelic (not sure about the spelling there).

I would be surprised if it was on Palolem Beach, they are usually hidden away somewhere and the Government are having another big crack down on them at the moment.

They are usually run by Israelies now days (ever hear of Tel-Aviv Beach, Anjuna), where most of the "Goa" trance and techno comes from.

Think LSD and Ectasy and you're about right.

I was trying to find out when the Holi Festival was earlier and discovered that it is the day after the March Full Moon, which this year falls on the 14th.

My point is that these parties, as the name suggests, happen on a Full Moon so I doubt it is on the 1st March, 14th maybe.

To be honest I doubt there will be one, its usually a ploy by the authorities to split the party goers up rather than having them all turn up in one place, if there was one it would be announced a day or 2 before to avoid being raided. I am there at the end of March and planning to Dj(thats how I make my living) at one so I will inform the board if anyone is interested in a bit of Psy Trance
