Was it perhaps the Banana Gardens you are thinking off as this has the same type of atmosphere as you describe. Next to the Park Troya hotel.

The best steak I've had in Tenerife has GOT to be at Rosie's Cantina,situated just on the edge of the Castle Harbour complex,Los Cristianos.....................you could almost cut the steak with a spoon,it was so tender!! HUNGRY NOW!!!Need to eat!MMMMMMmmmmmm!!!

The one at Castle Harbour is called the Castle Sports Bar, or there is a new-ish restaurant just opposite but that's below The Heights complex.

The steak bar that was part of Castle Harbour, is as previously said now a sports bar, and Rosies Cantina is part of the Royal Palm complex, but they also do wonderful steaks. Carole

What are the Menus like at the Sterlitiza or the Pig Farm at Cabo Blanco, does anyone know anything about La Finca restuarant as well and where it is. I posted a bit about restuarants in here a while ago but it got shifted to the restaurants at the top of the page and seemed to get lost as I had no replies.

I think its all down to personal taste.

A lot of the places mentioned here I personally would not visit again, but who am i to say, my opinion is down to my personal taste. Horses for courses.
