Does anyone know what the Squirels are called. They chirrup, just like a bird. We saw one most days in the mango tree at our hotel.

If it was stripey it was probably a 3 or 5 striped palm squirell .

Our resort was full of palm squirrels i thought they were chipmunks? 
but im not as daft as my daughter that was following them round picking up there droppings thinking they were dropping there food as they were running away from her it didnt take long for her to realise what it was!! Obviously she was disgusted and didnt stop washing her hands all day
I know what you mean about Chipmunks - the markings are similar,but the size and movement are totally different - i hope your daughter wasn't offering you fresh rasins !! 
Thankfully no, i dont think she will make that mistake again.
