Do many people go to Dubai for 2 weeks? I didn't think so although I may be wrong. My friend went last April and went for 5 days and she said that was enough. She really enjoyed it but found it too hot for sunbathing etc and said that most people she spoke to were there for 5 days or a week.

Hi Debs.

The Iberostar hotel is only about 25 mins from the airport, the Riu hotels about 45 mins.

No I should have read properly sorry! 2 weeks is long for Dubai.

Great for a twin centre thought. We went to the Maldives in October 2004. Although it was coming out of their rainy season we had FANTASTIC weather as per the photo. It was taken as we arrived at our island.

I would recommend the Maldives.... we went in June which is one of the months with the highest rainfall, and it only rained 2 nights - no rain or cloud during the day.... may have just been lucky??!!?

You could probably pick up 2 weeks all inclusive for just over £1000 each at maybe Meedhuparu, Lily Beach, Kuramathi or Kuredu in October. :idea:

Wherever you decide to go, I am sure that you will have a wonderful time!!!
