not many large supermarkets in vilamoura you will just have to hunt around, a few small ones are scattered around the resort, but not hard to find. cheers jayjan

There is a supermarket in Almancil which is not far from vilamoura.

Thanks for that. I will have a hire car so maybe even If there were large supermarkets in Faro or Albufeira then that would be an option

Hi Cn. There are some large supermarkets in Quarteira which is the next resort to Vilamoura about 5 mins in car. Regards jayjan

we use the supermarket next door to the bank,and petrol station just on your way in on the main road.there is a little cafe just under the archway behind the bank that does a very good lunch, a lot of the locals eat there. If You have a car there is a huge( the biggest we have found) supermarket in the Algarve Shopping Centre, head for the N125, turn left at the traffic lights, follow main road until you come to Makro and it is just opposite, you can't miss it it will take you about 15 to 20 mins
