Hi All,
I'm desperately trying to find a way to contact beach shack owners on Coco Beach, and would really appreciate some advice. We had a fantastic time in January and had a wonderful, quiet week at Coco Beach on the subeds outside the Deli Dolly (yes, spelt that way!!) beach shack. I think it's quite new, there is no printed menu etc, but the owners were lovely, honest people who left you alone and told you your bill at the end of the day. They prepared simple food in their own home, just behind the beach.
We exchanged presents when we left, and I would love to be able to send a letter, photos etc. Can anyone give me advice on how to contact them, or would some kind person who is due to visit soon be prepared to take a letter out for me? Thanks for reading.
p.s. they have dogs - a Mum and larger male pup (I nicknamed Goldie) and a smaller female pup (the image of her Mum and nicknamed Piglet). They sleep under the sunbeds of the Deli Dolly and are lovely!!

Hi im off to Goa in 7weeks and i think we'll be paying coco beach a visit quite a few times, not to swim though as ive heard a lot of dodgy stories about the sea there lol.
Ill quite happily take a letter out for you. If you want the letter to get there sooner im sure some other HT members will do it.
Nicola
p.s just to clarify, ill quite happily take a letter out for you but only if u email it to me as an attachment so i wont be risking taking anything unknown out to Goa, wouldnt want to get a prison sentence for drug trafficking

You would have to be really insane to swim around 'Coco', absolutely disgusting water!
...dont go to coco beach its not worth the trip.....it is by far the dirtyiest beach i have been to ......dogs barking at you as you walk along ......kids hassling you to come to their stalls.....oh and not forgetting snakes washed up out of the sea ...as i say dont waste one of your days ....you can go to so many nice beaches just not this one
Thanks very much for your offer; I gather you've been to Coco beach before? I'll be happy to email you a letter (do you want me to send the photos by post?) and would be very grateful if you could deliver for me. The shack is on the far left as you walk onto the beach - it's separated from the others by about 50 yards. Please pm me if you want to exchange address details.
Helen
Gotta agree about the sea at Coco Beach, absolutely filthy. Horrible layer of black scum on top of it..... Not sure what it is and don't wanna think about it Shame cos it could be a great beach, nice setting....
I personally didn't find the water there to be dirty and was happy to swim in it. Good place to go if you don't want to be knocked off your feet by massive waves
I totally agree with the last post, spent some fantastic days on Coco Beach last month, we loved it as the sea was calm and clear (saw no evidence of dirt), no beach sellars and reasonably quiet. Visited Blackeys Beach Shack whilst we were there, fantastic lads running that shack, no hassle like we got at the shacks on the other beaches to look at their marble elephants or lumps of crystal, just left you alone and fed and watered you if you wanted it. Would definitely return.
I speak to Nicky (luvery jubberly) regularly on the phone, he is related to my mate Sanjay.
If you let me know the names of the people from Deli Dolly I'll speak to Nicky tonight and ask for their contact details for you.
Might be better to PM me with the details though
they stayed for 2 nights at Rohans and us one night
like last year the water was clean and if i had children id take them there every day as the seas so calm there
i saw no evidence of dirty water and would recommend it to anyone
sharon
p.s the shack you mention deli dollys is great if it only had a toilet wed have stayed there longer than a few hours sand much better that side than rohans where its shells but he has a tiolet
Glad you enjoyed Coco beach, we loved it there. You're right - a toilet would have been great at Deli Dolly's - I think as they go along, they'll improve. A big thanks to people who have offered me help (Nicola and Fritz), and I recommend a trip to Coco beach if anyone wants a quiet relaxing day
