I have read this forum but never posted, until now after my last holiday,

Last year I arranged a holiday with an English company http://www.uniquebritishtours.com
We went on their so-called Castles, Manors And Pubs Tour.
My wife and I had a great time, what we found so good about the holiday was the fact that our personal tour guide was an x history teacher, with an
Obvious passion for history, we had all of our questions answered on the history of the places we visited, In fact it was really a lot to take in..
Our best visit was the beautiful Ightham Mote, what beauty; we also had a fantastic dinner thrown in at a local pub, French Ala Carte Menu.

The previous year to that we went on a package tour to Spain, My wife being quite fussy had an awful time, from baggage being lost to dirty hotel room, what a contrast.

My bottom line is that we should have done more research to the place we went.

Next year we will use the same company, perhaps there American Connection Tour.
