Evidently there is a champagne type wine that is cheap and cheerfull
There is also some other wine a bit like port or sherry but neither me or wife liked it.

I think the white wine I sometimes had was called Riveria, but cant really remember now. It was cheap and cheerful anyway!!!
Have a great holiday, I am so jealous
There is also a wine called Madera, which they show on the menu as Madeira !! Not all restaurants sell it, but it isn't too bad, pricey though.
As a regular red wine drinker the best wines we had were in the restaurants eg. J & A's and Midas Touch. It is expensive compared with other alcoholic drinks in Goa but that's okay you are on your jollies enjoy
Strange at first, but soon becomes room temperature.
A few places i had red wine asked if i wanted it warm or chilled
thanks everyone for all your help ,will have a drink for all of you on friday.cheers val
Some of the supermarkets have imported Chilean wine at around £6 a bottle and upwards. Why not buy a box at duty free?
Can you get wine in Goa?
yes you can get wine in Goa, im not sure of the price or quality though, but im sure others will be able to help you
I had a bottle of Vin Ballet (white) every night I have been there. Not top quality but it is OK. I tried the red once - never again.
Cannot remeber the price.

Samtheboater, Vanda, his wife, and I went to Sweet Chilli in Sinquerim last year and they were selling Hardy's Australian wine. A bit pricey by Goan standards but less than I sell it for in my pub over here..........
I dont take any clothes in my suitcase, just boxes of wine!!
How much wine do you take in your suitcase - comfortably? I mjust admit I only drink red wine and cant imagine 2 whole weeks without any!!!
We normally take a 3ltr box in each case. 3 ltrs weighs 3 kilos so adjust the amount of other stuff you take accordingly.
I took 3 litre box in case in March when we went to Thailand but the wine there wasn't as bad as I expected.
Is there a limit as to how much you can take into Goa? Would hate to have it confiscated or worse!!!

What could be worse than that??
